Search the following website for Supreme Court cases from the Roberts Court:

- Read briefly through the summaries at the right of the page until you find one that sounds interesting - PLEASE find one that interests you.
- When you find one you want to study, click on the corresponding link in the "Opinion" column. This will take you to the opinion of the case.
- Note: If the link is broken, choose a different case or go to http://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/opinions.aspx and look for the name of the court case (ex.: Hollingsworth v. Perry). Click on the link and move to the next step.
- Read through this opinion page and write down answers to the following questions:
- What is the name of the case?
- What year was it heard by the Supreme Court?
- What are the details of the original law suit? What event sparked the suit?
- How did the court rule? (Extra Credit: How did each Justice rule?)
- Extra Credit: Why did the case fall under the Supreme Court's responsibility of determining constitutionality?
- Do you agree with the ruling? Why or why not?
